Neus Ribas
Neus Ribas is a cultural manager and a translator with wide experience in internationalisation of culture. For 10 years she worked in Barcelona in the translation industry, and she specialised in cultural projects, such as exhibition catalogues (Henry Moore; Dürer and his Time; Pau Casals on the Stage of Art: The Vil·la Casals Collection; The Bauhaus Has Fun, 1919-1933; Chillida 1980-2000; Hogarth, etc.), reports on architectural restoration and opening of CaixaForum Barcelona and CaixaForum Madrid, etc.
Since 2010 she has been engaged in international promotion of culture, where she has carried out projects encompassing several artistic expressions: Be Balears programme in New York (2010), exhibition Chopin as Seen Through the Eyes of Young Artists from the Balearic Islands in London and Warsaw (2011), exchanges with Instituto Cervantes in Munich and Prague (2012), organisation of the accompanying activities for the XIV Campus de la Llengua Catalana (2012), coordination of showcase events Sea Arts (2013) and Sea Music (2014), among others. She is currently working in the Live Arts Department at Institut d’Estudis Baleàrics, and is the coordinator for Fira B! and the TalentIB circuits for both music and performing arts.
