Fernando Pérez

Fernando Pérez holds a degree in Basque Philology, a Master’s in International Leadership in Visual Arts from the University of New York, a postgraduate in European Cultural Policies from the University of Barcelona and a Master’s in Cultural Management, Music, Theater and Dance from the Complutense University of Madrid and the ICCMU. He has also been a member of the Advisory Committee for Europe of Japan Foundation for Performing Arts, Chairman of the Board of the Contemporary Art Center Huarte and Secretary of the Board of the Jorge Oteiza Museum Foundation.

Among other tasks that were developed during his period in Bilbao, he promoted and directed the Contemporary Theater and Dance Festival (BAD), the Festival of Street Arts, and coordinated the program of Artistic Residences, the program of the Fantastic Film Festival from Bilbao. Furthermore, he has been a speaker at several international forums and has actively participated in several publications on cultural management.
