Nipplepot

Nipplepot is a David Perreko and Dea Woon Kang project. It sits the bases of the bewilderment sonovisual, ruiderrima stroboscopy, celofanica transparency and continuous motion across a heterogeneous landscape made up of multiple aesthetic factions fight within the minds of its components. Negotiate constantly with planned interventions of coincidences, whims and errors is the main source of excitation. David Perreko is self-taught in the fields of music and photography, dedicated to the experimentation and improvisation since 6 years ago, interested also in visual art with little or no technology and the use of scrap materials. Dea Woon Kang is a Suth Korean artist who lives and works in Tenerife. He studied fine arts at the school of fine arts in Angers, France. After devoting himself to the video-creation, drawing, sculpture and photography, is now mainly devoted to performing arts and facilities onsite. His work is characterised by a desire to get out of the traditional projection formats and play with the different relationships that can be established between Visual and spatial elements. It translates mainly into audio-visual performances, cartographies in 3D, installations, games of lighting and scenery. The achievements, often insitu, are strongly influenced by issues linked to the own site them.

TIMELINE

A work based on interaction between sounds, movement and light, and its possible transfer to plastic, cinematic and technological scope addressed everything from the distinct of the two components of Nipplepot optics. A calculated, choreographed and analytic vision complemented and merges with a minimum guideline sound speech, gifted of unexpected elements, accidents that arranged his frame of mind, and at the same time becoming the visual development.

“Timeline” is overhead projector in way analog and manual on an atypical screen 300 X 40 cm, LED flashlights that shadows and distorted perspectives of an installation of translucent elements of various geometries, that give the piece, along with the sharp and sometimes hurtful spectrum of audible frequencies, an industrial approach, serialized, mechanical, but with an organic component culminating accentuated with a temperature change light that occur at the same time the last transfer , on the screen itself where everything happens, being printed on it a “picture” of what happened.
